My Favorite Store - The Old Town Cat House Check out their uniquely New Mexican Story Tellers. The Old Town Basket & rug Shop has been around for about as long as I have. It has expanded since I was a kid, but it still has plenty of baskets. The Candy Lady - My favorite Candy Lady delicy has to be their Piñon Fudge New México Bead and Fetish was my favorite place to find unique beads back when my eyes were younger and I made bead earrings. Palms Trading Post, not exactly in Old Town, but close enough. My husband I got our inlaid turquoise and lapiz wedding rings here for $9.00 a piece. Prices have raised with the times, but it still is a great place to get New Méxican jewelry. Another close by Old Town shop, Roses of Royce's has beautiful bouquets that they will deliver in Alburquerque Sun Country Gems is another bead shop.
