Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Agnes de Mâcon, daughter of Othon Guillaume comté de Mâcon and his first wife Ermentrude de Roucy, married Guillaume II "le Grand" comté de Poitou (Guillaume V Duc de Aquitaine), son of Guillaume IV "Fier-á-Gras," duc de Aquitaine (Gullaume II comté de Poitou) and his wife Emma de Blois. The children of Guillaume and Agnes were Pierre de Poitou, who adopted the name Guillaume VII duc d'Aquitaine & V comté de Poitou, after the death of his half brother; Gui de Poitou, who became Guillaume VII duc d'Aquitaine et VI comté de Poitou; Agnes de Poitou who married Heinrich III, King of Germany, son of Emperor Konrad; and possibly a daughter named Beatrix de Poitou who married Raymond de Melguel.
