Humphrey Poynt, of Iron Acton, Gloucster & Womberlegh, East Ansty & Langley, Devonshire Escheator of Devon in 1460 was married to Elizabeth Pollard, daughter and heir of Richard Pollard. They were the parents of William Poytz and grandparents to Wilnot Poytz who married Thomas Hext.

Thomasina married Richard Pollard, the son of John Pollard and Emma Doddescombe. [Visitations of the County of Devon, Comprising the Heralds Visitations of 1531, 1564 and 1620, by J.L. Vivian (1895). P. 597] On 20 September 1413, Richard Pollard posted a £100 bond to enter arbitration with John Cruwys regarding the dispute over East Anstey and Little Rackenford.
