Reginald Fitz Nichol died in the life time of his father, John. He left issue of Sir Thomas Fitz Nicholl, Knight, which Thomas by the name of Thomas son of Reginald Fitz Nichol, son and heir of John Fitz Nicholl, did homage to King Edward III in the ninth and fortieth year of his reign, and paid "releese" in the first year of King Richard II for the said Manors of Hull and Nymdesfeild.
