Tomás de Vargas Machuca was likely a brother of Rosa de Vargas Machuca and the son of Juan de Vargas Machuca & Ana Olguín. Tomás and his wife, María Benavides, were sponsors for a child, January 12, 1726. Tomás & his wife were the parents of a son, Antonio, who was born 18 Nov 1711. He died a widower on February 3, 1737.
