Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Rorico was the son of Gauslin and Adeltrudis. "In a charter, "Rorgo comes" donated "predium...in pago Andecavo in condita Maciacense...in Valegia...loco...Maisnisias", which "genitor meus Gauzlinus et mater mea Adeltrudis habuerunt", to the abbey of Saint-Maur-sur-Loire, confirmed by Dodon Bishop of Anjou by charter dated 1 Mar 839 [Saint-Maure-sur-Loire, XXXIV, p. 37]." Rorico married a woman named Bilchildis of unknown parentage. "Emperor Louis I confirmed the donation of "comes Rorigo…cum sue coniuge Bilechilde" to "cśnobium Glannafoliense Fossatensi in pago Andegavo" by charter dated 833 [RHGF, Tome VI, CLXXXVIII, p. 593]. "Rorgo comes" donated property to the abbey of Saint-Maur-sur-Loire, confirmed by Dodon Bishop of Anjou by charter dated 1 Mar 839, signed by "Rortgonis comitis, Bilechildis uxoris eius..." [Saint-Maure-sur-Loire, XXXIV, p. 378]."
