Mateo Alejo Gutiérrez married Gregoria López around 1726, and married a second time to María Guadalupe Carvajal on 17 Sep 1738. Mateo and his wife María Guadalupe appear in the Spanish Census of 1750 as living in Alburquerque, who is described as an Indian, and wife six children: Juliana, age eleven; Meretre, age six; Catrina, age five, Agustina, age four, Bárbara, age three and María Rosa, age two.
