Francisco Mascareñas, as a soldier, left New Mexico and resided with his wife somewhere in Nueva Vizcaya for fourteen years. They were back in Santa Fe by Aug 1732 where he was a soldier at the presido. They eventually made there home in Santa Cruz as shown by the Spanish Census of 1750 that lists Francisco, his wife and six children.

Francisco married Antonía de la Concención López, daughter of Luís López and Ana María Bernal, on 15 Nov 1718 in Santa Cruz de la Cañada, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España.²⁴⁸ (Micaela Antonía López was born about 1699 in Santa Cruz de la Cañada, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España ²⁴⁸.)

Capitán Ignacio de Roybal, notary in Santa Cruz; Antonío Trujillo (35), native of New Mexico living in Pojoaque, married, Felipe Luján (34). Pair married 15 Nov 1718 with witnesses Bernardino Sena and Tomasa Gonzales.
