Juan Antonio Montaño and Tomás García de Noriega were first cousins, sons of sisters Ysabel Jorge de Vera and Ana Jorge de Vera respectively. The children, Nicolás, seventeen and Quiteria, sixteen, must have lived with Tomás García de Noriega for quitesome time becausethey kep his name when they got married at twenty-two and twenty-one respectively."
