Robert de Launcelyn, son of Richard de Launcelyn, likely son of Siward living in 1093, "avus Willielmi," lord of Pulton, Bebington, Apilton and Hull, by charter of Hugh Boidele, s.d. temp. Richard I, confimred the aforesaid donation. His two known brothers are William de Launcelyn and Galfrid de Aston, father of Hugh de Aston.
