I've seen Edmund's second son, Edmund, in place of Henry in many genealogies. I used Henry, which I found reading about the Sherman family in NEHGR vol 24 pages 63-157.

In the Ancestry of Rev. John Shermand and Capt. John Sherman the linage is given as the father of Rev. John Sherman is Edmund Sherman (son of Edmund, son of Henry) and Anne Pellatte.

The will of Henry Sherman, dated Aug 21, 1610, and proved Sept. 8, 1610. Gleanings in England V2 p1202; N.E. Hist Reg. V24 pp63-65.
(Consistory Court of London Book Hamer, No. 7, leaves 33-36.) . It names his wife Susan and all his children except Anne, the first Nathaniel and Mary. It also names his son-in-law SymonFenne, deceased, and gives that surname for his daughter Phebe.It gives the dwelling house, "holding of the manor of Dedham Hall, by estimation 20 acres more or lesse which I had of the Surrender of my
father" plus household items and some animals to his wife. To Nathaniell and his heirs "the house wherein now William King now dwelleth with the Lands thereunto belonging called Scotts by estimationfire agres more or less with appertenances ... upon condition that he pay unto my Sonne Daniel ... ten pounds of lawfull money ...", plus some household items.To John and Ezekiell "all those my Lands which were late Doctor Shermans called the Heckell and golding Acre to bee equallie Divided betwixt them by myne Executors." To John "one field called Wayland by estimacon seaven Acres more or lesse ..." To Ezechiel "three Acres of Meadow lyuing in broad Meddowe holding of the Mannor of Dedham Hall. And three Roods of Meddowe holding of the Mannors of Overhall and Neatherhall in Dedham..." To Edmund "all my lands holdinge of ffaytes & Wades called by the name of Garlicke field, and Ardley Lands and Boremans Acre ..." Eight acres of land "in the Hall feilde" to be sold and divided among imon ffen and among his (Henry's) grandchildren.To Henry "my Wood lying in Ardley that I bought of William Baldwin on condition that he pay Daniel "xij/ti of lawful English money ... and twenty shillings of like lawfull English money ... to Pheabe ffenn my Daughter ... ."
Other household items and money were given to various persons, grandchildren, relatives and some with no relationship stated. Among these was "Mr. Rogers Preacher of Dedham the summe of eight pounds" and forty shillings to "the increasing of the pores stocke of the Towneof Dedham"; to "Mr. Sage Curate of Dedham xx/s"; to "Mr. Humfrey Scole mayster of Dedham x/s".
