Juan Miguel de Ribera was dead by 1770. His widow, Manuela Olguín, married José Miguel Tafoya. He had made his will in 1769, stating that in four years of marriage he and Manuela had two children, Juana Antonia and Miguel de Jesús.

Miguel de Rivera's will mentions that he is the son of "Alferez don Juan Phelipe de Rivera, deceased and doña María Estela Rendon Palomino." Miguel mentions that he was married do doña Manuela Olgin for four years and they have children, Juana Antonia and Agustín de Jesús.
