William Ward married a woman named Judith, and resided in Malborough where all his children were born. He sold his land in Malborough to Samuel Morris in 1711, and moved to most likely Ashford, Connecticut, where he purchased land in 1715, and his sons, William in 1729 and Jacob, received a deed of gift of lands there from their father in 1726. William, the father, next moved to Union, Connecticut where he died 8 Jan 1731 at the age of sixty-one. His widown, Judith, died there on 21 Jan 1746. There children were:
