Diego Fernández de Miranda and his sister Ynés de Soto were children of Alvar Díaz de Lodón, and possibly a descendant of doña Ynés Valdes. Diego Fernádez was forced into exile by rey don Enrique II. Diego's wife, doña Aldonza, and his sister, doña Ynés remained in Asturias during his exile. Doña Aldonza dictated her will 24 Jun 1372, and died before 28 Mar 1373.

Aldonza married Diego Fernández de Miranda, son of Álvar Diaz de Lodón and Ynez de Valdéz.
