The Nobiliario of Pedro Conde de Barcelos names "don Pedro Álvarez de Asturias, don Ordoño Álvarez fue Cardenal, Alonso Álvarez de Noroña, Álvaro Diaz, doña Mayor Álvarez" as the children of "don Álvaro Díaz de Asturias" and his wife "doña Teresa Perez", recording in a later passage that "don Diego Gómez de Castañeda" married "doña Mayor" [Pedro Barcelos, Tit.
