Gonzalo Salvadórez was killed in battle at Rueda. He was the son of Salvador González and his wife Muniadomna. He married, as his first wife, Elvira, daughter of Diego Álvarez. He married as his second wife, a woman of unknown parentage named Sancha. Gonzalo and his first wife had six children, and Gonzalo with his second wife, Sancha, had three children including Gómez González.
Gonzalo married Sancha Sánchez de Navarra, daughter of Sancho Macerátez and Andregoto.
