Wigerich was given the right to coin money in part of the archbishopric of Trier in 902 [Gade, J. A. (1951) Luxemburg in the Middle Ages (Leiden), p. 48]. Ludwig "das Kind" King of Germany restored property taken by "Conradus et Gebehartus comites" to the church of Trier with the consent of "Wigerici comitis" by charter dated 19 Sep 902. He married Cunigonde, daughter of Ermentrud, and granddaughter of Louis son of Charles II "le Chauve" King of the West Franks.


Wigeric married Cunegonde de Francs, daughter of Unknown and Ermentrude de Francs, in 908.160 (Cunegonde de Francs was born about 895 160 and died after 940.)
