Judith was the daughter of Henry I, Duke of Bavaria and Wulfhilda, daughter of Magnus, Duke of Saxony and his wife Sophia of Hungary. ¹⁶⁰

Judith married Friedrich von Staufen, son of Friedrich von Büren Duke of Swabia and Agnes of Germany.¹⁹¹ (Friedrich von Staufen was born in 1090 in Hohenstauffen,¹⁶⁰ died 4-6 Apr 1147 in Alzey ¹⁶⁰ ^,1019 and was buried in Walburg Abbey ¹⁰¹⁹.)
