Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Adelais of Burgundy, daughter of Rudolf II, King of Upper Burgundy and Berta of Swabia, as well as widow of Lothar King of Italy, married "der Große" King of Germany. "Luitprand names "Adelegidam" as daughter of Rudolf and his wife Berta, when recording her marriage to "regi Lothario" [Liudprandi Antapodosis IV.12, MGH SS III, p. 318]. The Annalista Saxo records "Adelheidam reginam" as "coniuge rege Lothario" when she married Otto [Annalista Saxo 951].
