They were the parents of St. Margaret of Scotland who was the second wife of Malcolm III Canmore, King of Scots. 160

• Background Information. 851
Edward the Exile fled the country and lived at the court of Hungary until recalled by his father's half brother, Edward the Confessor. He was never crowned king, as he died in London immediately after his return in 1057, and was buried at St. Paul's Cathedral. While in Hungary, he married Agatha. Edward was the founder of the House of Furgoyne and had one son Edgar Atheling, who married the sister of Malcolm III, King of Scotland, but died without male heirs. Edward also had two daughters, one named Christiana became a nun. The other, Margaret, who died 1093, was the wife Malcolm III, Canmore, King of Scotland.

Edward married Eadgyth of Hungary, daughter of Yaroslav I "the Wise" Prince Duke of Kiev and Ingigerd Óláfsdottir Princess of Sweden. (Eadgyth of Hungary was born in Hungary and died on 30 Jul 1054 in Scotland.)
