Umberto II "el gordo" conde de Savoie Susa, Turin y Maurienne

~Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists Who Came to America before 1700, 8th Edition, 274A:24, Humbert II "le Renforcé," comté de Maurienne, Savoie et Turin, was the son of Amadeus, comté de Maurienne et Savoie and Mangraf um Susa and his wife Jeanne of Geneva, daughter of Gérard of Geneva by his wife Gisele. Humbert II married gisele of Burgundy, daughter of William comté de Bourgogne. Humbert and Gisele were the parents of Adelaide who married Louis VI as her second husband and Amadeus III, who married Mathilde d'Albon. ¹⁶⁰

Umberto married Gisèla de Bourgogne, daughter of Guillaume I comté de Bourgogne and Étiennette. (Gisèla de Bourgogne was born about 1060 in Bourgogne and died after 1133 ¹⁶⁰.)
