His death is commemorated in an inscription in the Cathedral of Oviedo, which names his father.

He married Urraca, who is named with her husband in his donation to the Cathedral of Oviedo dated 23 Sep 926. She was present in the castle of Lara signing two charters as "Urraca regina" in 927, suggesting the affiliation of her daughter Muniadomna.
