Ermengarde de Tours was the daughter of Hugues de Tours and the wife of Emperor Lothar I, son of Louis I "le Pieux" and his wife Ermengardis.

Emgarde married Lothaire I Carolingien Holy Roman Emperor, son of Louis I "the Pious" Carolingien Holy Roman Emperor and Ermengarde of Hasbaye, on 18 Oct 821.²⁰¹ (Lothaire I Carolingien Holy Roman Emperor was born in 795 in Altdorf, Bavaria, died on 29 Sep 855 in Pruem, Rheinland ⁵²⁸ and was buried in St. Saveur, Calvados, Normandy.)
