García Sánchez de Navarra, was the son of Sancho "el Mayor" King of Navarre and his wife Muñia Mayor de Castilla. García married Estefanía Foix. He was was killed in the Battle of Atapuerca on 1 Sep 1054 and buried at Santa María de Nâjera.

García married Etiennette de Foix, daughter of Bernardo Roger de Carcassonne and Gersinde Condesa de Bigorre. (Etiennette de Foix was born after 1010 and died after 1066.)
