Geoffroy II may be the son of Aimery III or Savory III, since there is no primary source yet found to confirm either. Geoffroy married, as his first wife, a woman named Aldearde and as his second wife & mother of his wife children, Eleonore, who is named in a charter from about 1030 which states: "Gaufredi vicecomitis et uxoris eius Ainoris et filii sui Aimerici."

Geoffroy married Aénor.¹⁶⁰ (Aénor died after 1060.)
