• Background Information. 141
Rohese, who married not later than 1146, Henry de la Pomerai, a great Devonsihire baron, son and heir of Joscelin de la Pomerai. He fought for Henry I in the rebellion of 1123, and in the King's later years, was a deputy or assitant Constable in his household. In 1136, he was one of Stephen's commander in Normandy. He prospered under Henry II. He was dead in 1167 and his wife was probably living in 1175/6. They left two sons, Henry and Joscelin.

Renaud Earl of Cornwall (son of Henry I) granted Roseworthy manor in Cornwall to his sister "Rohesia de Pomeria" in a charter[Journal, R. Inst. Cornwall, Vol. 1, pp. 29-32, cited in CP XI Appendix D, p. 119 footnote f]. The wife of Henry de la Pomerai was either Rohese, illegitimate daughter of Henry I King of England & his mistress Sibyl Corbet, or Sibyl's daughter by her husband Herbert FitzHerbert.

• Background Information. 160
Sir William de Tracy was the father of Rohese who married Henry de Chamernon of Ilfracombe, Devonshire. Sir William was the son of William de Tracy, lord of Bradninch, Devon. Rohese was the heir to Clistwick, Devon (Clyst St. George or Clist Champernowne), a manor previously the martagium of Sir William de Tracy's wife. The lord of Bradnich held Clyst St. George of the Pomeroy family, so Sir. William Tracy's wife was likely the daughter of Henry de Pomeroy, lord of Berry Pomeroy, Devon, by Rohese. Rohese was the sister of Reginald Fitz Roy, Earl of Cornwall, bastard son of King Henry I. Earl Reginald had several half-siblings by his mother, Sibyl Corbet's marriage to Herbert Fitz Herbert. Since Sir William Tracy is the grandson of Herny I, it isn't likely for Rohese, his wife, to also be the granddaughter of Henry I.
