Sir Robert de Beetham confirmed the Lytham charters, and agreed with the monks as to the bounds of Bryning and Warton on the Lytham side ; he also gave land in the Bankhouses to Stanlaw Abbey [Whalley Couch. (Chet. Soc), ii, 453-464, The gift was made for the soul of Robert's deceased wife Maud].

Maud married Sir Robert Beetham Knight, son of Thomas de Beetham and Amuira de Woodplumpton. (Sir Robert Beetham Knight was born in Westmorland, England and died before 1302 in England.)
