William de Thurstanston, son of Matthew de Roelent, a.k.a. de Thurstanston, confirmed a grant by deed of his father. He was living during the reign of Henry II when he granted ten bovates in La Lytha to the Abbey of Bazingwerk. He married Beatrice and their son was Richard de Thurstanston.
