Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands, Comtés de Bourgogne - Étienne, son of Guillaume de Bourgogne, was murdered at Ascalon on 27 May 1102. He was the comté de Mâcon and Seigneur de Varasque. He went on the first crusade, and commanded troops with Étienne, comté de Blois. They were defeated at Marsivam. Étienne married Béatrix de Lotharingia.

From Wikipedia: Étienne I de Bourgogne co-count of Burgundy (Franche-Comté), co-count of Mâcon and Vienne, younger son of the count Guillaume I the Great of Burgundy and Mâcon and Étiennette (of Burgundy), younger brother of Count Renaud II of Burgundy to whom he succeeds, also brother of Pope Calixte II and Raymond of Galicia (-Léon-Castille). He married Beatrice de Lorraine, daughter of Gerard I duc de Lorraine. Their children were:
