William de Boidel had Dodleston by gift of his brother. He confirmed the grant of the church at Hanley to St. Werbury. He gave Thomas Fitz William the lands which Thomas held from Helton de Boidel, William's father and from Hugh, William's brother. He died during the reign of John.
