Mará Ysidora López, about 18, single, native of the Alburquerque area, the legitimate daughter of Diego Mariano López and María Juliana Cháves. The couple was related in the third and fourth degrees of consanguinity.

Ygnacio Caetano Ruiz stated that he did not know he was related to María Ysidora until his relatives told him a few days earlier. For about two years he had engaged in improper relations whith her, and she was pregnant.

Witnesses:
Juan Antonio Crespín, 68, married, citizen of Alburquerque for forty-eight years; Tomás Sedillo, 70, married native of Alburquerque;
Joaquín López, about 70, widower, native of Alburquerque.

Governor of the Sacred Ministry, Álvares Tostado granted dispensation, imposing penance that the couple would take communion once more than required annually by Church precepts and recite one decade of the rosary every day for thirty days. He ordered that the parish priest to publish the banns three times. Assuming no new impediment arose, he was to marry the couple and give them the nuptial blessing.

1. On 18 Jul 1804, Vicar Ortega baptized Ygnacio Caetano Nepomuceno de la Cruz, born on 16 Jul 1804, the legitimate son of Antonio Estanislao Ruiz and María Ysbel Armijo. His padrinos were José Julián Armijo and his sister María Ysadora Armijo.

2. Unable to locate the baptismal record for María Ysadora López, Father Leyba took testimony on 19 May 1825 from Joaquín López, a citizen of Alburquerque, sho said that María Ysidora López was baptized in the parish church. Although he had not seen the act, the late Vicente López had told him about it. Father Guerra performed the baptism.

3. On 19 Jul 1825, Diego Antonio López gave his permission for his daughter, María Ysidora López, to marry Ygnacio Caetano Ruiz.

In Alburquerque, on 19 May 1825, Manuel Armijo stated that Ygnacio Caetano Ruiz had no parents or grandparents who could testify to his age as required by the royal degree of 23 Mar 1773 and the royal decree 1803. As Alcalde, Armijo stated that Ygnacio Caetano was free to wed.
