Anghard, Queen of Powys and South Wales was the daughter of Maredudd ab Owain. She married, as her first husband, Llewelyn ab Sitsyllt, one of the most celebrated Princes of Wales. The mother of this Llewelyn was Princes Trawst, daughter and heiress of Elissau, second son of Anarwd, Princes of North Wales, the eldest son of Roderick the Great.
