~ According to Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands, Ermengarde may be the daughter of Richard, "le Justicier," duc de Bourgogne and his wife Adelais, daughter of Conrad Marquis of Transjurania and his wife Walrada. ¹⁰⁰⁴

Ermengarde married Giselbert Duc de Bourgogne, son of Manasses comté de Dijon and Ermengarde. (Giselbert Duc de Bourgogne was born about 890 and died after 8 Apr 956 in Paris, Île-de-France, France ⁵⁵⁸.)
