Richard de Cukeney, of Cukeney, son of Joceus le Flemangh, was living during the reigns of William I and Henry I. His sons by his first wife were Richard, of Cukeney, a benefactor to the Abbey of Welbeck, German and Ralph. Richard's second wife was Hawise, a cousing of _____, Earl Ferrers, and by her had another son named Thomas.
