Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Isabelle de Broyes' parentage and marriage are confirmed by a charter which Louis VII King of France confirmed donations to the abbey of Colombs near France. She was the daughter Hugues "Bardoul" de Broyers, seigneur de Broyes. She married Simón seigneur de Montfort-l'Amaury, son of Amaury de Montfort and his wife Bertrade.
