~Collin's Peerage of England, vol. XII p. 484, Sibilla de Valoines, survived her husband, Robert de Ros. She remarried Ralph de Albini and ahd a daughter, Joan, who was to married Robert Darce, of Dacre castle. This differs from Cokayne's Complete Peerage, 2nd Edition, (Ros), Vol. XI, p. 91, that says she married, as her second husband, William de Percy; and as her third husband, Ralph d'Aubigny, brother of William d'Aubigny of Belvoir. She was living in 1212, and possibly in 1218, and was burined at Nun appleton Priory. In footnotes (h) & (l) Vol. X, p. 441 (Percy) "At Mich. 1166 William de Percy rendered account of 400 marks in Yorks for having the wife of Robert de Ross [Pipe Roll, 12 Hen. II, p.41]." William Percy's wife Sibyl is called Sibyl "de Valloniss" in a grant made to the church at Topcliffe [York Fabric Rolls (Surtees Soc.) p. 142]. 141,900

"Ralph d'Aubigné was deceased prior to the sixth year of Richard the First, 1198, leaving Sibilla de Valognes surviving, who rendered accompt of forty marks for the licence to remain in England from the host of Normandy, which sum she had . . . In the10th year of Richard the First Sibilla de Valognes paid fifty marks for having exemption from marrying herself, and should she choose to marry, then to do it through the counsel of the king."

This article names Ralph d'Aubigné, Gunnora and three sisters as offspring of her marriage to Ralph d'Aubigné. Also it names Sibyl's first husband to have been Robert de Ros and her son with Robert to be Everard (Ebrard) de Ros who was in the custody of Rannulph de Glanville.

Sibyl next married Sir William de Percy Knight, Lord of Topcliffe, son of Sir Alan de Percy Knight and Emma de Grand. 1027(Sir William de Percy Knight, Lord of Topcliffe was born in Topcliffe, North Riding, Yorkshire, England and died Before Easter 1175 in Yorkshire, England.)


Sibyl next married Ralph d’Aubigné, son of William (Brito) d’Aubigné and Cicely le Bigod 141.,1027 (Ralph d’Aubigné died in 1191 in Acre, Palestine.)
