~Cokayne's Complete Peerage, 2nd Edition, (Tateshal), Vol. XIIA , p. 645, Eon or Yon, coming from the name Eudo, son of Spirewic (also called Spirvic of Spiruwin, all old Celtic names), at the time of the Domesday Survey (1086), held lands as a tenant-in-chief in the counties of Lincoln, Norfolk and Suffolk. He was the father of Hugh de Tateshal. 141
