The husband of Adelina de Insula was Reginald de Dunstanville, whose marriage to so wealthy an heiress bespeaks some Court influence. Reginald, under the name of Rainald de Dunestanesvill, gave the Priory of Lewes the Church of Winterburne in Wilshire with all that appertained thereto [Monasticon, v, 14, No. vi] Winterburne was among the Domesday possessions of Humphrey de L'Isle. Adelina de L'Isle, wife of Reginald de Dunstanvill, survived her husband.
