Sir John Pecche, son and heir of Richard Pecche and his wife Hawise, was a minor at his father's death. Soon after the battle of Evesham, Oct 1265, he had a simple protection. In 1268, as Sir John Pecche, he attested a charter of Hugh de Mortimer of Richard's Castle. Like his father, he appears to have been concerned with local affairs. Sir John Pecche possibly married Joan. In Dugdale's time a stone remained in Hampton in Arden church to the memory of Sir John Pecche and Dame Joan his wife. The date of his death is not known, but it must be after 1285, when he was a justice to deliver Warwick gaol.
