Sir Richard Pecche, son and heir Geoffrey by Pernel, was a knight in 1219. He served in various capacities in Warwickshire. In 1235, he was holding 1/2 fee in (Fenny) Compton. He married Hawise, daughter of William de Arden, of Hampton in Arden, co. Warwick, in her issue coheir of her nephew William. He was dead in 1242-43. His wife succeeded him.

Richard Pecche was the son of Petronella de Whaley and Geoffrey Pecche. Richard married Hawise, daughter of William de Arderne, and acuired land in Honiley from his father-in-law.
