Étienne II, comté de Blois, son of Theobald III, comté de Blois married Adela of Normandy, daughter of William the Conqueror. They married in 1080 in Breteuil, France, and again in 1981 at Chrtres Cathedral. He succeeded his father as Count of Blois, Brie, Cartres and Meaux sometime before 1090. Étienne died during the siege of Ramula in the Holy Land.
