Robert who is described as "miles," was living about the year 1060, and appears to have possessed signorial rights in the neighbourhood of Ivry. He married Aubrée, probably daughter of Hugh, Bishop of Bayeux, son of Ralf d'Ivry, comté de Bayeux.
