Sir Thomas de Roos, Knight of Kirkby-Kendal, Westmorland, son of William de Roos and his wife Elizabeth, was Justice of the Peace for Westmorland. He was born about 1307 since he was age 3 in 1310, and proved his age 11 July 1325. Sir Thomas married the daughter of Sir John de Preston, Knight of West-Monchard.
