Peter de Mauley was summoned to parliament from 5 Edward II to 9 Edward III as Peter de Mauley, and from 9 to 28 Edward III as Peter de Mauley Le quint. He died 29 Edward III leaving his wife Margaret, daughter of Robert lord de Clifford.

Peirs de Maulay, the fifth, was summoned to be at roxburgh, "with horse and arms, to march against the Scots." He held a seat in parliament from 5 Edward II until 29 Edward III. He was knighted in the company with Prince Edward, later to be the King of England. He married Margaret, daughter of Robert, Lord Clifford, and died in 29 Edward III, to be secceeded by his son, Piers de Maulay, the sixth.

Piers de Mauley, the Fifth, Lord Mauley was with his father in Scotland in 1322. In 1324, as "Piers son of Piers de Mauley," he was summoned to attend the Great Council at Westminster. In Sep 1335, he was summoned to appear at the Council at York to answer for various contempts. He is styled a Knight on 16 Mar 1335/36, and in Aug of that year he was summoned to a Council to discuss treaties with France and Scotland. In Sep 1336, the Sheriff of Yorkshire was ordered to seize him and take him to the tower of London, citing that he left the King's service in Scotland without listened. He was release soon after, but his lands remained in the hands of the King until he appeared before the King at the next Parliament, 29 Nov 1336. His lands were returned to him in the following March. He continued to be summoned to Parliament up to 15 Mar 1354. Piers de Mauley the Fifth married Margaret. Piers died 18 Jan 1354/55 and Margaret, on 8 Aug 1382.
