Peter de Mauley died in the lifetime of his father. He was married to Margery, the sister of his step-mother, and a coheir of Thomas de Sutton of Holdernesse. Peter and Margery had a son, also named Peter de Mauley, as well as two daughters named Constance and Elizabeth.

Piers de Mauley, the Seventh, son and heir, married Margery, the sister of his father's second wife, who was also the daughter of Sir Thomas de Sutton. This Pier de Mauley's step-mother and sister-in-law, settled the reversion of various manors on Piers son of Piers de Mauley the Sixth and Margery his wife on 9 Oct 1371. This Piers died between Jan 1377/8 and Mar 1382/3. His widow remarried William de Aldeburgh, of Harewood, 2nd Lord Aldeburgh, who died 20 Aug 1391. Margery died 10 Oct 1291, and was buried with her first husbant in the church of the Friars Preachers at York. Her Will was dated 22 Sep and proved 19 Oct 1391.

Piers de Mauley the Eighth, the son of Margery and Piers de Mauley the Seventh, was the heir to his grandfather, also Piers de Mauley. He was married to Maud, daughter of Ralph de Neville, Earl of Wetmorland. This last Piers died without children on 6 Sep 1415, and the family estates passed on to his sisters and coheirs; Constance, said to have married first, in 1392, William Fairfax of Walton, and second, Sir John Bigod of Settrington; and Elizabeth, who married George Salvan or Salvain, of Kilham and Nafferton.
