Robert Ierby, or Irby, of Laceby, county of Lincoln, married one of the dauhgters and coheirs of Herbert Flynton, Esq. by his wife, one of the daughter and coheirs of Walter de la Lynde, Lord of Laceby and Bulbook, Sussex. Robert and his wife had a son, also named Robert, who married Jane, daughter of Sir John Lowdham, knight, and Robert and Jane had issue of Bennet Ireby, Esq. who married a daughter of Sir Robert Gainsby, Knight.

John atte Grene of Layseby came before the king, on Tuesday after St. Matthew, and sought to replevy the manor of Bronfeld belonging to him, his wife Margery, Herbert de Flynton and Cicely his wife, Isabella daughter of Walter de la Lynde, and Amice her (ejus) sister, taken into the king's hands for their default before the justices of the Bench. This is signified to the justices.

To William Fraunk, escheator in cos. Lincoln and Rutland. Order not to intermeddle further with a moiety of the manor of Laysseby, restoring the issues thereof, as the king has learned by inquisition taken by the escheator that Herbert de Flynton held no lands in his demesne as of fee at his death of the king or another, but that he held the said moiety jointly with Cicely his wife, in fee tail, of Philip de Nevill, by the service of 1d. yearly.
