Baldwin Fitz Gilbert, or de Clare was the son of Gilbert de Clare, by Alice, daughter of Hugh, Count of Clermont. Baldwin and Adeline, daughter of Richard de Rollos were the parents of Emma, wife of Hugh Wac; and Rose, wife of William de Bussey. Children of Rose and William de Bussey were Bartholomew, Walter, Cecily and Maud.
