Amabel Fitz William

Amabel was the daughter of William Fitz Duncan and Alice de Rumilly, daughter and coheir of William le Meschin. ¹⁶⁰

Reynold de Lucy married Amabel, 2nd of the three daughters and coheirs of William Fitz Duncan and Alice de Rummily his wife, lords of Skipton, Egremont, and Copeland, and had with his wife the last two lordships. In January 1198/9 he was ill, and died about that time.

Amabel married Reginald de Lucy, son of William de Lucy and Unknown. (Reginald de Lucy was born about 1144 in Nottinghamshire, England and died about 11 Jan 1198-1199 in Egremont, Cumberland, England ¹⁴¹.)
