Henry de Scarisbrick succeeded his father Walter about 1260, and held the manor some ten years. He and Roger de Hurleton made an agreement with the prior of Burscough as to the bounds between their lands. He also was a benefactor to Cockersand Abbey. He was succeeded by his son, Gilbert.
