Sebastián Rodríguez de Salazar was a captain, forty-four years of age, living in Santa Fé with his wife in 1626. They had come to New Spain seven years before. His wife's name was Luisa Días.

Lucía married Sebastián Rodríguez de Salazar on 23 Feb 1607 in Santa Catalina Martir, Ciudada de Méjico, Nueva España. (Sebastián Rodríguez de Salazar was born in 1582 in Cartaya, Condado de Niebla, Andalusia, España ²⁶⁹ and died before 1642 in Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España.)
